Celebrating 134 Years of Serving You

What Happened in 2019?

We partnered with the Forward Madison Football Club, a professional soccer team based in Madison, Wisconsin at the historical Breese Stevens Field. The team had a breakout first season with the highest attendance of the USL League One and made it to the playoffs. Each home game featured the Rhyme Community Connection, highlighting a local non-profit in our area! The home opener for the second season kicks off Saturday, April 11th.

In February of 2019, Rhyme was presented with the Business Excellence Award, by the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce. This award recognizes businesses for their outstanding work and contribution in the Portage community.

In October of 2019, Rhyme was named a Xerox Accredited Managed Print Services Partner. The Xerox MPS Accreditation Program is available to a select group of channel partners who demonstrate MPS expertise, as well as business revenue growth. We are proud of the expanding relationship with Xerox, and their combined ability to provide the most innovative and robust Managed Print solutions in the industry.

Rhyme was selected as a 2019 Elite Dealer by ENX Magazine. The Elite Dealers were selected based on numerous criteria, including growth initiatives, innovative marketing prowess, outstanding customer service, charitable contributions to the community, progressive workplace cultures and adaptability to an ever-changing market.

Our growth lead to the addition of 10 new people to our team in marketing, sales, IT, and administrative roles! Every year we are determined to get better at what we do and our people are constantly learning and continuing their education in order to better serve our customers.

One of our top priorities year after year is to grow our level of community involvement and support. Notable community involvement moments from 2019 included:

  • The Lee Lake Polar Bear Plunge, held in Cazenovia Wisconsin, will be celebrating their 20th and final year in 2020. This year marked the 10th anniversary for our brave group of Rhyme Time individuals who plunge into the frigid waters every year. The Polar Plunge benefits the American Cancer Society and G.R.A.C.E. (Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination). The 19-year total for the entire event is over $350,000 and the Rhyme Time group has raised over $57,000 in the past 10 years.

  • Raising over $23,000 at the 11th Annual Steve Ennis Memorial Golf Classic! It was another sold out year, with over 150 golfers. We raised $23K this year, which brings our 11-year total to over $180K. Every year Rhyme gives out scholarships to students that have been touched by cancer. We do this in honor of Steve Ennis and Jack Steinhoff; two men that always represented Hard Work Determination Optimism and "Making Every Day Count. To-date we have awarded 49 scholarships and this year was our largest yet with 12 recipients!

Thank you for another great year! To celebrate reaching 134 years in business, we will be hosting a number of events in the upcoming year as a thank you to our clients, vendors, and employees, as well as publishing a magazine highlighting notable events throughout our 134-year history.
