CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

The Customer Service Administrator position is responsible for assisting clients with ordering office products, furniture, and special orders. This position will gain an in-depth knowledge in office products items and vendors to be able to properly assist customers and receive the best pricing. This is a full-time position out of our Portage office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding office products, furniture, and special orders over phone or email.
  • Assist clients with ordering products over the phone, through email, and in person and accurately enter into ordering system (Red Falcon).
  • Ability to make product recommendations based on client purchases.
  • Process orders within the system to ensure they are placed with the vendor.
  • Communicate with multiple vendors to ensure products are purchased at best pricing.
  • Research vendors for special order items.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to scheduled orders for delivery.
  • Review received orders and report any shortages, overages, or damage to the vendor.
  • Process returns by requesting RMAs from vendors and scheduling pick up of product from client locations.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two-Year Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a professional administrative role.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and strong math abilities.
  • Proficient computer, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Professional communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excel proficiency.
